Before and After School Program
  Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum

Our program is designed to meet the varied needs of the following age groups: Early School-Age (5-6 years), Middle School-Age (7-9 years) and Early Adolescence (10-12 years). We realize that a child's interests and abilities change as he or she grows and matures.

Our program provides materials and time for children to select their own activities during the day. Children may choose from among several activities the teacher has planned or from what the children initiate (e.g. choosing to just "hang out" and socialize with friends). Children also have the opportunity to complete homework and receive guidance if needed. Children are allowed to contribute in program planning and share in program "ownership" through responsible decision making and choice opportunities.

 Before and After-School Program

Our before and after-school program is available during the school year, including school holidays that the center is open, for children five (5) to twelve (12) years of age. Van transportation is provided to and from the following schools if several children attend the center from each school: Atha, Bay Creek, George Walton, Loganville Christian Academy, Loganville, Magill, Sharon, Walnut Grove and Youth.

The before and after-school programs are comprised of two separate classes: 1) children entering kindergarten and first grades and 2) children entering second through fifth grades. Breakfast is provided before school and a healthy snack is offered after school.

We also offer fun filled activities for children during holiday breaks, intersessions and other non-school days such as teacher work days and early release. Activities will include classroom projects and field trips. Goals and action plans are the same as listed under Summer Camp below

  Summer Camp Program

We offer a flexible schedule in which children can attend one (1) to ten (10) weeks. We also provide both a partial day program which is six and a half hours and a full day program. Breakfast, lunch and two snacks are provided.
